POLYGLASS

POLYGLASS WCP

Product information Coating method Temperature limit
Application
Immersed
Non-Immersed
Product type A peroxide catalysed, glass flake polyester primer Recommended DFT
Description As a primer for concrete surfaces that are damp, or were levels of moistures are approching the saturation poit of concrete DFT is not specified. Wet film thickness should be checked and be within the range 100 to 150 microns during application.
Surcface preparation Mechanical abrasion of the surface is required to provide a physical “key” for the product to adhere to, prepare the surface of the concrete. Refer to data sheet SP5. SDS

POLYGLASS ZIP COAT

Product information Coating method Temperature limit
Application
Immersed
50℃
Non-Immersed
90℃
Product type A rapid cure polyester acrylic glass flake developed for single coat application Recommended DFT
Description This product is suitable for structural steel, superstructures and other nonimmersed surfaces as well as aqueous and marine immersion at increased thicknesses. 500 microns non immersed,
800 microns minimum in immersion.
Surcface preparation Metals: Grit blast to ISO 8501-1 Sa 2  or equivalent standard. (For full details refer to Corrocoat Surface Preparation SP1). Concrete: Priming is required. See Corrocoat Surface Preparation Specification SP5. SDS

POLYGLASS 100

Product information Coating method Temperature limit
Application
Immersed
60℃
Non-Immersed
80℃
Product type Two-pack isophthalic polyester acrylic glass flake coating. Recommended DFT
Description Developed for marine, crude oil, limited chemical and heavy duty atmospheric applications A single or two coat application directly to steel,
generally at 600um DFT for atmospheric or 850um and above for immersion conditions.
PPA primer may be required for logistical purposes.
Surcface preparation Metals: Grit blast to ISO standard 8501-1 Sa 2  or equivalent. Concrete: refer to Corrocoat data sheet SP5. SDS

POLYGLASS VE VEILCOAT

Product information Coating method Temperature limit
Application
Immersed
110℃
Non-Immersed
185℃
Product type A wax inhibited vinyl ester/acrylic surface veil coating. Recommended DFT
Description For use as a waxed surface veil to Polyglass materials where surface inhibition must be avoided. 200-400 microns
Surcface preparation Metals: Gritblast to ISO standard 8501-1 SA 2  near 3 or equivalent. (For full details refer to Corrocoat Surface Preparation SP1). SDS

POLYGLASS VEPG

Product information Coating method Temperature limit
Application
Immersed
110℃
Non-Immersed
175℃
Product type A two-pack cold cured vinyl ester/acrylic co-polymer enhanced with flaked glass, specifically formulated to be applied using pipe rolling rig. Recommended DFT
Description Immersed environments where superior resistance to chemical attack is required, VE is suitable for most chemical environments within the pH range of 0 to 13. Between 750 and 3000 microns dependent upon environment.
Surcface preparation Metals: Grit blast to ISO 8501-1 Sa 2½ near 3 or equivalent. For full details refer to Corrocoat Surface Specification SP1. Concrete: Grit blast to remove surface laitance. See Corrocoat Surface Specification SP5. SDS

POLYGLASS VEHA

Product information Coating method Temperature limit
Application
Immersed
110℃
Non-Immersed
185℃
Product type Vinyl ester acrylic co-polymer enhanced with glass flake for hand application. Recommended DFT
Description For small areas of application where spraying is impractical and for stripe coating spray grades of Polyglass. When used alone two or more coats of Polyglass VEHAuntil a minimum DFT of 650 microns, over thickness is not detrimental.
When used as a stripe coat a single layer of circa 300um, or as otherwise specified.
Surcface preparation For optimum performance of these products under immersed conditions, grit blast steel to ISO standard 8501-1 Sa 2½ near 3 or equivalent, prior to application. For full details refer to Corrocoat Surface Preparation SP1 SDS

POLYGLASS VEF

Product information Coating method Temperature limit
Application
Immersed
110℃
Non-Immersed
185℃
Product type Vinyl ester/acrylic co-polymer loaded with glass flake and thixotroped with fibre. Spray application only. Recommended DFT
Description May be used in identical conditions to Polyglass VE, offering superior.
corrosion, chemical and temperature resistance.
500 to 3000 microns dependent upon service environment.
Surcface preparation Metals: Grit blast to ISO standard 8501-1 Sa 2½ near 3 or equivalent. (For full details refer to Corrocoat Surface Preparation SP1.) Concrete: refer to Corrocoat SP5. SDS
